I am totally aggravated! This blogging site is not easy to maneuver! I spent lots of time writing my first one and it didn't save. Then the second one got sent to "Drafts" and I can't get it out of there!! So here goes the third try...you know what they say..."third time's a charm"...we'll see about that!
Anyway, I decided to go to blogging. In all our other trips I have kept records through pictures. I still intend to keep my photo albums, but also wanted to keep a written record. Then any of you who would like to keep up with where we are and what we are doing can just log on to our website. I have always felt funny trying to impose my pictures on people who may not really care, so now it will be totally up to you if you want to check on us.
Of course I have to learn how to navigate through this procedure....adding pictures, etc. So if things get a bit screwed up or confusing, just bear with me. I also tend to get too detailed or long winded, but that's just the English teacher in me coming out....and I thought I retired! Maybe I will not be as precise and grammatically correct as I taught others to be....this is suppose to be fun...so I may take liberties...that's what writers do, right!
So now that I have made introductions to what is going to be known as The Black Pearl Adventures, we will see how it goes. It's up to you to log on and read what's going on with us while we travel down the road in Pearl. We will be seeing some of you along the way so be prepared for a quiz!! Those of you back home in Sabal, your exam will come in November! *LOL* Frank says "Hi"!

P&F... I love this blog idea. I will put it in my favorites. Carol and I bought, at least ordered, a pull behind today. You will DIE whe you see it. I promise we will stay in another campground so no one will know that you know us. You can see it at casitatraveltrailers.com We bought the 17'. It remindes me of the limerick:
There once was a man from Boston
Who bought himself an Austin.
There was room for his ass and a gallon of gas,
But his balls hung out and he lost 'em.
LOL
Hi Pam,
The Big Brown Condo (BBC) is parked in Marietta Georgia for awhile. We have a new grandson (Jake Matthew Brantly), so we're spending some time getting to know him and helping his Mama. I'm not sure how long we'll stay here in Georgia but the price of diesel is forcing us to decrease our travel plans. But Atlanta gets very hot during the summer so I expect we'll head to North Carolina, Tennessee or North Georgia before too much longer. Hope to see you during your travels so we'll follow your Blog to determine your locations.
Regards,
Howard & Renata Brantly
Hello,
From one TN girl to another. Hope to get to see you when you are home for graduation. We are looking forward to getting the Diplomat out on the road. Our Alaskan cruise will be an adventure from the end of May to June 9th. I am really looking forward to that. LOL Dawn
