We have had a blast staying in Boothbay for the last 10 days! Making our stay so enjoyable were our RVing neighbors here in the Shore Hills Campground. Charlie and Barbara we already knew. We met these South Carolina residents last winter when they wintered in Bonita Springs. Our mutual friends, John and Rosi, introduced us. We all got together on several occasions while everyone was in Florida for the winter months.
Through Charlie and Barb, we met Dick and Carol who they met last summer here at Shore Hills. RVing is such a network allowing old friends to introduce new friends. Friendships just snowball!
We have had so many afternoon Happy Hours and dinners. I told Barb, we had to leave so that I could get back on my boring diet of chicken and salads. We have certainly eaten well!!AFTERNOON HAPPY HOURS
LOBSTER DINNER AND MY BLUEBERRY-RHUBARB CUSTARD PIE
The area has been a great place to stay…so much to do and see. The Maine seacoast offers villages to roam and shops to browse. The harbors are always interesting. Just take a chair, sit, and watch the boats sail by or the lobster boats unload the catch of the day.
