Fish Creek, another quaint village in Door County, provided us with an afternoon of entertainment... besides the shopping. Frank saw a working barge coming into the Marina so we watched the loading. What was unusual about this was how they drove huge dump trucks on and off the barge over small ramps and used a steam shovel to maneuver things about even the barge. Must be a man thing...Frank was more enthralled than I was, but he plied me with ice cream while we sat and watched for several hours!! It was a lovely sunny day and I really didn't mind sitting and watching. I was more interested in the dog that was aboard the barge and the commands it followed while all this loading was going on!
All in a Day's Work!!
